Losaan-H Tablets 50mg/12.5mg – Hypertension Treatment

Each box of Losaan-H Tablets contains one strip, with each strip holding 20 tablets. This combination medication is specifically designed to help manage hypertension by lowering blood pressure. It combines losartan potassium, an angiotensin II receptor blocker, with hydrochlorothiazide, a diuretic, to provide effective blood pressure control. The usual starting dose is 50mg of losartan and 12.5mg of hydrochlorothiazide, taken once daily. If needed, the dosage can be increased to 100mg of losartan and 25mg of hydrochlorothiazide. This medication is ideal for patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled by losartan or hydrochlorothiazide alone. By reducing blood pressure, it helps lower the risk of fatal and nonfatal cardiovascular events, primarily strokes and myocardial infarctions.
